1

Brilliance Potential

46 / 100

Evaluates the stone’s ability to return and amplify light after cutting. This score reflects the ruby’s exceptional internal clarity and its strong capacity to produce vivid, high-intensity brilliance under precision faceting.

2

Symmetry Potential

98 / 100

Measures the structural alignment and geometric consistency of the crystal. The Afghan ruby demonstrates near perfect natural formation, allowing for highly balanced facet architecture and optimal optical harmony.

3

Color Preservation

94 / 100

Assesses how effectively the stone retains its natural color saturation throughout the cutting process. The ruby shows strong deep red concentration zones, with minimal risk of dilution when oriented correctly.

Unearthed in Afghanistan

For millions of years, this ruby remained hidden within the rugged mountains of Afghanistan, forming under immense pressure deep beneath the earth's surface.

Recovered from one of the world's most historic ruby producing regions, the crystal immediately stood apart for its exceptional colour, transparency, and natural crystal structure.

Its journey to Rosetti marked the beginning of a new chapter one dedicated to understanding, preserving, and ultimately revealing its full potential.
